Got back last night from a great weekend in Boston, filled as always with music, food and great friends that I of course really miss right now. I'm ready to pack up and move there tomorrow, everytime I leave I feel like I've left another small part of myself there. It's always sad, that feeling upon arrival in Cambridge that I've arrived at home and having to leave after only a few days... it's like my time there is just a tease of what it could be living there. Soon enough, that's what I'll keep saying to myself.
I'll give everyone a run-down of all of the great music and great food in a bit. I also got myself a new cell phone, since the old one was left with my old job. Finally got a camera phone... hooray! So you'll be seeing pics up here soon.
One of the coolest things we did was stop by a recording studio yesterday afternoon where Tim, one of the aforementioned great Boston friends, is recording a 5 song cd. He's laid down guitar and vocal tracks, and is working with some Boston musicians right now to round everything out. The whole process is amazing, intimidating, exhausting, and just plain cool. Once he gets his cd's in, I expect anyone reading this to buy multiple copies.
